The Netrikann movie starring "The Lady Superstar" Nayantara has been released in Disney Hotstar and has received a mixed review.
Personally, I liked the flow of the film and how they depicted the role of Nayantara as a visually challenged.
The whole movie experience can be rated somewhere around Moderate. But the more important giveaway in the film is placed at the climax.

How Everyone's favorite Cop " Manikandan" had to sacrifice or was made a victim in hands of the antagonists.
In the end, in his memorial, we are told that in his last minutes he had a voice recording requesting for his organ to be donated and especially to Nayantara the protagonist.
This is where Manikadan serves as a role model to all the viewers and takes up a great character-building than just a cop who sacrificed.
Manikandan being with Nayantara together throughout the entire process of investigating the case had made him realize the difficulties & challenges a visually impaired person would go through.
That realization had made him take a decision at the right time-saving Nayantara's life and not just giving her the eyesight but as well giving back another chance at life to be a citizen who could contribute more to the society being barred without any limitations.
Though Durga (Nayantara role ) had given us a great movie experience, we definitely shouldn't miss out on the lesson given to us by Manikandan.
